We are a broker, and we say so

National Logistics Group LLC is a licensed transportation broker. Transportation services are performed by independent motor carriers operating under their own authority and insurance.

Federal regulation requires brokers to disclose their status in advertising. We would tell you anyway. What it means in practice: we do not own the truck. We find, vet, negotiate with, and manage the carrier that does, and we stay on the load until it is delivered.

Carrier vetting

Before a carrier is assigned we review their operating authority and active insurance. We source carriers through Central Dispatch and confirm coverage is current for the dates of your move — not merely on file.

Insurance

Cargo coverage is carried by the assigned motor carrier, not by the broker. You receive the carrier details and coverage in writing before pickup so you can verify it yourself. Federal minimums for auto haulers cover public liability, not the vehicle on the trailer, which is why we confirm cargo coverage specifically.

Condition reports

The carrier documents the vehicle condition at pickup on a Bill of Lading, and the receiving party inspects against that same document at delivery. Photograph the vehicle at both ends. Note anything you find on the Bill of Lading before signing — that document is the basis of any claim.

Claims

Damage claims are made against the carrier cargo policy. Report damage at delivery, note it on the Bill of Lading, and contact us the same day. We help you file and we chase it with you rather than pointing you at a phone number.

Cancellation

No deposit to request a quote and no charge to cancel before a carrier is assigned. If you cancel after dispatch, tell us as early as you can so we can release the carrier.
